Day 4 of the 31 Day Blog Challenge

Everyone of us has something that scares us. Everyone of us has something we fear. On today’s blog challenge, I will be talking what I am afraid of and how I am learning to deal with it.

My Fear

My fear is failing. I hate failing at anything. Failing is one of my fears mainly because I always have the urge to try to be perfect. Another reason my fear is failing is because I don’t want to let anyone down. I think my fear of failing connects with my self-confidence. I am sure some of y’all deal with self-confidence issues. This fear doesn’t always happen. It happens when something big is happing like school or work.

There are different ways that I try to make this fear go away whenever i get the feeling.

1. I pray. Praying helps calm my nerves and helps me not feel so anxious about failing.

2. I try to find a positive quote that I like. I also try to find scriptures that will help as well.

3. Find friends that will keep me accountable. Basically I let some of my close friends make sure I stay positive.

4. Taking risks. I think taking risks is a good way to get rid of fear. I am trying to learn to take more risks as I get older.
