Everyone needs little down time everyone once in a while. We all need time just for ourselves. Today’s blogpost focuses on the question: How do I spend my “me-time”? This topic is very important to me because after a long day I tend to need some alone time just to relax from a long day. There are several different things that I do to relax at the end of the day.
1. Wordsearches and Puzzles
The first thing that I do is word searches and puzzles. Word searches are just fun to do and are a part of my routine after school or work. It is a way to work the brain and relax at the same time.
2. Listen to Music
The second thing I do while also doing the word searches is listening to music. Listening to music is just something that has become a part of my routine as well. Also, finding new music when doing this is fun. Most of the time I listen to the same type of stuff. Like right now I am getting ready for the Mamma Mia 2 movie by listening Abba songs.
3. Movies and TV
The third thing that I do to relax is watch a movie or a tv show. I absolutely love movies. My favorite genre is musical movies, but I pretty much watch everything. Also, watching anything Disney is fun and great in my book. I am really into drama and crime tv shows. I am really intrigued by those type of shows. My favorite TV shows is NCIS. I also like Criminal Minds and Pretty Little Liars.
Another thing I do to relax is color. I know mostly kids color, but recently adult coloring books have become a fad and honestly it does relax me. It also helps with my creativity side as well.
5. Write a blog post/ post on social media
I usually try to write a blog post once I get home from school or work. I also work on social media post as well. This is just a part of my daily routine and sometimes I forget to do them.
