My 4 Favorite Christmas Movies

Christmas is a fun time of year. Most of us spend it hanging out with friends or family. People are shopping and giving presents. It is a time for celebration and happiness. A time for reading, listening and talking about the nativity story. Christmas is also a time of year to listen to one’s favorite Christmas songs. They also enjoy watching their favorite Christmas movies. On the blog today, I want to talk about four of my favorite Christmas movies.

My 4 Favorite Christmas Movies

1.Elf

Elf is the first movie I want to talk about. It premiered in theaters in 2004. It is about an Elf named, Buddy (Will Ferrell). As a baby, Buddy crawled into Santa’s bag and landed himself in the North Pole. Santa and the rest of the Elf finally told him when he was older how he got there. He then went on a mission to find his father. Along the way he goes on many adventures including love. This film brings laughter and family oriented content. It is fun to watch over and over again.

2. The Santa Clause

The second movie I would recommend is The Santa Clause. It premiered in 1994 and stars Tim Allen. This movie is about a guy named Scott, who knocks Santa off the roof and kills him. Because of this, Scott has to take Santa’s place and become Santa Claus. There are many adventures that take place while Scott is on the way to becoming Santa. The movie is a classic and has comedy in it. It is fun to watch over and over as well. This movie is great for the whole family. If you like it check out the second and third movie as well.

3. The Nativity

If you like watching movies about Jesus birth, this movie is a great one to watch. The Nativity Story is all about the story of Jesus birth. It shows all major characters that are in the Bible story. See the Mary’s encounter with the angel and wise men travel to see Jesus. It is a great movie for people who want to show their kids the story of Jesus birth. The movie premiered in theaters in 2006.  I love watching this movie because it is different from the rest of the Christmas films out there.

4. Fred Claus

Fred Claus is the fourth movie I would recommend one adding to their Christmas movie watch list. It premiered in theaters in 2007 and stars Vince Vaughn as Santa Claus brother. Santa is the good brother and Fred is more of the not so nice brother. Fred gets into some big trouble and Santa helps him out but Fred must work for Santa to pay off the debt. This movie is a fun and family oriented movie. One will have many laughs when watching it.

Conclusion

There are tons of Christmas movies out there that are amazing and fun to watch. The movies above are some that are fun for the whole family. Some will make you happy and some will make you think. Comment below with your favorite Christmas movie or subscribe to my newsletter.
